Love is blind, but marriage restores its sight.

3 days of wedding preps within the past week and then the day itself really squeezed the exciting and tiring juices out of me. I can't imagine if I'm getting married, hopefully in 4 years time. LOL! Just helping out Aisyah with her brother's wedding preparations was an experience the 5 of us shared for the first time and it was a blast! From going to Larkin to get the hantaran stuff, to getting it all done up, to doing the berkats with her cousins and finally the day presented itself with much anticipation.

The hantaran decoration which Rin and I did. We're pretty good cause it's pretty gorgeous!
The cute Chocolatey-Sweet mosque was Fad's idea so she pretty much was the in-charge with the rest of us helping out.

Berkats

Finally married!

Listening to the Kadi talking about how a married couple should live harmoniously with each other and a husband's responsibility to his wife and vice versa sounds like it's quite a scary thing to go through in a marriage. A wife has to properly portray herself as a woman and also a wife to her husband sounds like a pretty hard job to do but I think as long as I'm not behaving in a way that could bring shame to me or my husband and my family, I think it's quite managable. =)
Aaaah, I wanna get married can?

First up, save enough money for the event that's going to burn a hole in my pockets if I wanna make it grand. Hehe!

I saw this poster today at Challenger Tampines 1 and I asked the boyfie this.
"Can I have this poster by my bed....?" and he shoved me forward though I wasn't done with my Hugh Jackman-crazed question.

I.
Watched.
X-Men Origins: Wolverine.
Twice.
One with him and one with the girls when we went to JB for a "road-trip" of our own. Muahaha~ Kill me now. I dropped dead the second time anyways seeing Hughthesexiestmanalive2008 do his thing! LIKE THIS ONE! Look at those shoulders and the arms~~~~~~

A short review on this one for those who have not watched this. It was an awesome movie which tells you why things are the way it is from the first X-Men movie to the third one. It's like a trip back in time. And those powers or gifts that they have are beyond words. A little humor which balances the seriousness of the story did it. I wouldn't mind watching it again and again!

Now, we turned THREE last Thursday! I want many many more years of us ♥.
Forever.

Somewhere in my mind, somewhere deep in my heart, I'm still wishing for that one thing. I'm still wishing and hoping for the light at the end of the tunnel. My journey is not pitch-black; just a little bleak at this moment. I'm sure of what I want for my future, but at times, questions came running through my mind leaving me unsettled and asking the same thing through and through.

Time and again I ask myself "What do I really want for my future?".

Of course the list includes a house, a car, my own family, stability and to be in good health. But all that needs to start somewhere, doesn't it? I realise that my constant worry is money. I didn't really think the phrase 'money makes the world go round' would make sense until I needed to fend for myself, so much so that asking money from my parents makes me feel ashamed.

Maybe my time will come a little later than the rest of my friends. What frustrates me is that I wanna get things going soon. Achieve as much as I want now, on my own. Maybe I'm asking too much, too hard on myself. Haha.
Imissmyboyfriend.
I need him to knock some sense into me. Lol..
Too much Twilight series now. I'm at the 4th book now! Weeehooo!

2 countdowns down, 2 more to go!

Well, I've been meaning to update, but the computer was down right after my previous post. Now it's back up for a few days already and hope it stays longer till I upgrade to a new one. It's end is almost near.

April has been fantastic so far, even for my birthday which I didn't expect much action from girlfriends! 2 surprises left me speechless. You girls got me this time, twice! And I thank you for that and for the effort/time spent, love and laughter we had.

Thursday was Ain, Aisyah and Mardhiah meet-up day. Did not expect anything at all. I was just eager to meet them after so long! Hahaha, pleasant surprise and we got company too. A cockroach and errr... two juveniles who kept asking, "Eh korang ok tak?" after the cockroach paid a visit. Read: underaged BOYS. What's up with them? Anyhoots, it was a great night out and name-tagging for the future. Don't forget the names girls. We would check if it's true in 10 years' time. Hehe.
And then Friday was even better! Go to my multiply for the picture for Friday and read the dialogues that follow. Hilarious I tell you! This one I was too touched. I couldn't get any words out of my mouth upon seeing the candles on the floor and the deco and the girls! All 4 of them under my void-deck throwing a mini party for me! I couldn't be happier. Thank you girls, again. You all know how much I love you and no words could describe it.

The boyfriend's birthday surprise too was fun. Amin and me, partners in crime =) I cooked at the boy's place and we all ate till we can't eat no more. Seafood pasta, Tom yam soup (fishballs, crabmeat, prawns, squid, clams, mussels), Campbell's soup (this one I cheat lah, abit. haha!), Honey black pepper roasted chicken and Rootbeer float. The boys went crazy after a while, too much food stuffed in them. His brothers joined in the fun of sabo-ing and cake-cutting. We all had fun, he enjoyed the mini party - that's most important. And I feel good! =)

"The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It's a very mean and nasty place... and I don´t care how tough you are, it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently, if you let it. You, me or nobody, is gonna hit as hard as life. But ain't about how hard you hit... It's about how hard you can get hit, and keep moving forward... how much you can take, and keep moving forward. That´s how winning is done. Now, if you know what you worth, go out and get what you worth. But you gotta be willing to take the hits. And not pointing fingers saying: "You ain´t what you wanna be because of him or her or anybody. Cowards do that and that ain´t you! You´re better than that!""
-Rocky Balboa

Am not a fan of the movie or Mister Sylvester Stallon himself. But thanks to a friend, this just gave me some motivation. Lately, I've been in quite low spirits for various reasons.

Aaaaaanyway, my own computer is down. It just refused to function so I'm using the brother's computer which means that I'm not able to upload pictures THAT soon. Sorry Ain =/

Afgan is just love. LOVE LOVE LOVE! This song made me cry so bad. Heh~

And girlfriends, yesterday was too too short but still SUPER! Next meet up my birthday okay!! Heheeeeee.

Countdowns:
14 more days to his Twenty-three!
18 more days to the number Twenty-two!
26 more days to my first lesson. *nervous*
2 more months to our 3rd year.
